Tom Brady wanted to make sure Jalen Hurts didn’t run into a problem he frequented on football’s biggest stage.
Brady was back at the Super Bowl on Sunday, but this time around, the legendary quarterback was announcing the contest instead of playing in it. And the future Pro Football Hall of Fame witnessed one of the most dominant performances in Super Bowl history, which saw the Eagles prevent the Chiefs from securing a three-peat with an absolute beatdown in New Orleans.
Jalen Hurts took home Super Bowl LIX MVP honors for his stellar performance, which also set him up for a postgame interview with Brady. And before the two wrapped up their chat on FOX, the seven-time champion gave the 26-year-old some critical advice.
“Don’t let that jersey out of your sight,” Brady told Hurts. “I had a few of them stolen over the years. So, keep track of that. It’s gonna be memorable down the road.”
Brady famously had his Super Bowl LI jersey stolen in Houston, where local police classified the alleged theft as a first-degree fortunately. Fortunately for the New England Patriots icon, he was able to recover the memento.

As for Hurts, he has more special relics in his future. Later this year, the dual-threat signal-caller will receive the first Super Bowl ring of his career.
