DELAWARE COUNTY, Ohio (WSYX) — A complaint from a concerned parent about a student obtaining a vaping device has led to a significant drug bust in Delaware County.
A School Resource Officer from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office received the complaint and subsequently collaborated with a detective from the Delaware County Drug Task Force, according to a post on the DCSO Facebook Page.
Following an investigation, authorities executed two residential and one vehicle search warrants. The operation resulted in the seizure of 180 pounds of raw marijuana, 5,644 THC pens, 14 grams of LSD tablets, mushrooms, heroin, four guns, and over $2,000 in cash.
