CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – West winds will gust over 30 mph at times today as the next cold front tracks through the area. We are warmer than normal this morning in advance of the front, but we will slowly fall in temperature as the afternoon wears on. Most high temperatures will be in the upper 30s to around 40 degrees. A few snow showers will accompany the front later this morning and midday. Some flurries will be around as well. There is the risk of a brief heavier snow burst that could make travel tricky for a bit until the snow shower passes.
Some stratus clouds will hang on across most of the area tonight. Breaks in the clouds overnight will allow temperatures to fall well into the 20s. The wind turns light by midnight.
A nice day coming up tomorrow with a good deal of sun through midday then some high level clouds will increase during the afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 40s. Rain arrives later Thursday night with the next system.
