Meanwhile, screenshots of a Facebook group called ‘Justice For Karmelo‘ and multiple GoFundMe campaigns to support Anthony’s legal defense surfaced. However, the GoFundMe’s are likely hoax. Karmelo Anthony’s father, Andrew, has denied the charges against Karmelo and claimed that he was not the first aggressor.
Here’s a screenshot of the Facebook group calling for justice for Karmelo Anthony. The group is active on Facebook and has over 51,000 members, as of this writing. Another private group, called Justice for Karmelo Anthony who is a victim of white supremacy, is also active, with over 7,000 members, at the time of this writing.
Screenshots of GoFundMe campaign for Karmelo Anthony surfaced on social media, garnering millions of views. They also sparked widespread reactions on social media. However, Times Now Digital can confirm that the GoFundMe campaigns are a hox, and there is no campaign for Karmelo Anthony on the website of GoFundMe.
