OCONEE County , S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office have identified the suspect after a convenience store break-in.
On Friday, Feb. 28, deputies were called to the Countryside Exxon #1 due to an alarm call.
Once on scene, deputies began gathering evidence after entering the business.
Surveillance video shows a person using a hammer to enter the business through the front door. Once inside, he is seen placing items into his pockets and also into a black bag, officials said.
According to deputies, the items stolen were vape products: cigarettes and cigars. The total amount of the items was about $830.
Deputies identified the suspect as a teen. The investigator in the case will complete a Juvenile Referral Packet in regards to adjudication proceedings in Family Court thru the Department of Juvenile Justice.
